Bring Blood and Roses, LLC to Life

Hey there! My name is Loki and I'm a LGBTQIA+ goth, video game player, single parent and business person. During my years as a gamer, I've played video games, board games and tabletop games. One thing that struck me was how effectively the games brought people together to build a community, offer support and encouragement and to lift people up.

What if that same sort of community had a physical location? A place for players to come together, learn and support each other? I asked myself for several months before starting to put pen to paper and see what, exactly, it would take to do just that.

It takes license agreement negotiations, searching for actors, finding a location that will allow me to open shop there, finding vendors and models to showcase the amazing range of people within the gothic community, research, networking with other people who have more expertise than I do and building a community. A lot of those things can happen at the same time, some can't.

I've got the license agreement, the location lined up, some actors and models, vendors ready to sign, nearly 20 years of research experience when it comes to the goth community, a community of people around the world ready to support this effort, and the professional network to help make it happen.

After 2.5 years, my passion project can finally come to life! With the blessing of Argent Games, the studio behind the video game "Red Embrace: Hollywood", Blood and Roses, Markus' shop in the game, is coming to life as a gothic clothing and accessory shop. After negotiations with the studio devs, B&R is able to find actors to fill the character roles, do meet-ups with players and customers, carry merch including but not limited to:

Wigs

Makeup

Clothes

Posters

Stuffed Animals

Shoes

Jewelry

Stickers

Books

I'm making this shop as a "One stop shop" where people can purchase the things they need for an outfit, find a place for help with styling tips/tricks, learn new skills, share what they know and find a spot where they can come together in a safe environment to build community.

Ultimately, this shop will be a destination location like The Shire in New Zealand, the various Hard Rock Cafes around the world or any other themed location that you can think of that ties into your favorite movie. People will be able to interact with actors and staff either as themselves, or as the character(s) they created for the game. (In RE:H, players create their own character to go through the story and interact with the game world.)

But I can't do this without your help. In order to get the primary business loan, I need to have 3 months of operating expenses to show lenders. This is the ask to everyone who wants a gothic clothing and accessory shop. This shop will have different sizes and styles without heavy reliance on traditional movie monsters, spiders and clowns.
